Currently, we are seeking the following manuscripts for our 2019/2020 publishing list:

  • Specialty subject matter that can be presented in hard-cover format, such as photography, travel, cookbooks, health and fitness, inspirational and motivational, and legacy books

  • Trade fiction, suspense, romance*, and historical fiction

  • Memoir and nonfiction

  • Poetry

  • Children's books: ages 2+ through Young Adult.

  • Don't see your genre listed? Send us an e-mail with your idea and we'll let you know if it's a fit!

*Please note that Wintertree Press is a family-friendly business. We will not accept erotica submissions, or work considered beyond "PG-13" in subject matter.

Submission guidelines.

Thank you for your interest in Wintertree Press.  To be considered for publishing, please complete and return our submissions form along with a manuscript sample or full manuscript.

In most cases, if a submission is accepted, authors provide a monetary investment for the production of their books in return for ownership of all rights and higher royalties than received with a traditional publisher. You can review our hybrid publishing process on the Publishing with Wintertree page.

Please note that Wintertree Press accepts fewer than 20% of all submissions, however, we do respond to 100% of submissions.

All submissions must be sent by email to or via snail mail. (Digital format is preferred when possible.)

Once we have received your information, we will contact you with a realistic timeline of when we will evaluate your work. Normally, this is within thirty business days.

Serious submissions only. Unsolicited manuscripts will be reviewed, no agent required. Please review your work and any emails carefully prior to submission.
